The California Cancer Registry (CCR) is a collaborative effort between the State and the California Public Health Foundation (CPHF), which was instrumental in both the collection of data and the production of this report. This report was partially supported by funds from the Breast Cancer Act of 1993, which provides funds for research and early detection services in California. The Cancer Surveillance Section would like to express its appreciation and thanks to California's hospital tumor registrars and others responsible for cancer data collection for their dedication and hard work. Their efforts are the foundation on which this publication is based.
